Commissioning

1. Prior to the rst use, insert battery (1× AA, 1.5V) into the battery compartment on the rear side. Use only alkali

batteries of the same type. Do not use rechargeable batteries.

2. Remove the cover, insert the battery. Respect proper polarity to avoid damaging the alarm clock.

3. Reassemble the cover.

4. If there is a battery icon on the display or if the display is dicult to read, replace the batteries.

Setting DCF 77 time, date and calendar

After successful insertion of batteries the clock will automatically start searching for a DCF signal. It will take 8 minutes.

The icon will be ashing while the signal is searched for.

Once the DCF signal is successfully received, there will be displayed the current time and date with a

icon.

The clock receives the DCF signal automatically every hour from 01:00 to 05:00.

DCF signal reception can be triggered any time by holding the WAVE button.

Summer time is indicated with a sun icon.

If no DCF signal is found, you can set the time and date manually.

1. Hold the SET button for 3 seconds.

2. Set the 12/24h time format – time shift – hour - minute – year – month – day – calendar language using the UP/

DOWN buttons. You can navigate faster if you hold the buttons. You can choose from the following calendar

languages: GER – German, ENG – English, ITA – Italian, FRE – French, DUT – Dutch, SPA – Spanish, DAN – Danish.

3. Push the SET button to navigate in the menu.

Radio controlled clock provides the most precise time in the European continent. The radio signal is broadcast on

radio waves (77.5 kHz) from a location near Frankfurt am Mein in Germany to the radious of 1500 km. This radio time

signal automatically adapts to the daylight saving time (DST), leap years and date changes. Under normal conditions
